By joining an estate agent or independent insurance company you should be able to come up with a process that suits all parties: seller, buyer and tenant. It is also important to inform your tenants of your wish to sell as this may ease any potential tension. Your tenant(s) may even be interested in purchasing your property or know a likely buyer.

Of course there is always the option of serving a Notice to Quit on your tenants but this doesn't always facilitate a quicker sale. Choosing this option would also leave you open to void period which in the long-term would prove a costly practice.
