Landlords' Contents Insurance
Whether your property is fully furnished or just part furnished, it always pays to purchase Contents Insurance as the tenant’s deposit which is generally one month's rent does not cover all content costs. Our "New for Old" policy and accidental damage options will help you manage your maintenance costs better.

Q. Do I need Landlords' Contents Insurance?
A. Although not a legal requirement in the UK it is still a very good idea to invest in Contents Insurance, especially if your property is fully / part furnished. Cover would be a good choice for landlords wanting to protect their semi-furnished property against loss or damage to items supplied to tenants, such as carpets, curtains, furniture, pictures and electrical equipment (e.g. vacuum cleaners, TVs, light fittings, fridges, washers, dryers etc.).
Q. What is the difference between Buildings Insurance and Contents Insurance?
A. With Contents Insurance you are primarily covered for theft or damage (see policy document for full details) to the interior of the property and Building Insurance covers the majority of what remains.
Q. Do you offer a new for old policy?
A. Yes. The basis of settlement shall be the cost of replacing the article new, provided that the article is substantially the same as, but not better than the original article when new and that you incur the cost of replacement.
Q. What add-ons are available with this policy?
A. With this policy you can choose a number of add-ons, such as Building Insurance, Emergency Assistance and Legal Expenses.
Q. Can I cancel my policy or make changes at any time?
A. You cancel your policy within the first 14 days of inception without any extra charges.
